web pages blank after a few secs ?

ie. especially the autotrader web site,it comes up completely fine,after a few seconds it reloads the page ( ? ) and then the page is blank white,no error messages or nowt,can you help please ??

I've seen posts about a new trojan (about_:blank trojan) and your problem sounds just like it. I wouldn't access any secure website etc. until you have cleaned it.

I'll e-mail you some instructions for cleaning up your PC. Bit to long to stick up here.

This seems to do a thorough job looking for Ads/trojans. Free online scan lets you know if it finds something and gives analysis and manual removal intructions. Or you can buy it and it removes automatically

I'll second Pest Patrol as an adware/spyware blocker. Been using it for three years now and have been pest free all that time.

Incidentally, I did a comparative test with Ad-Aware on a known problem PC and Pest Patrol found many items that Ad-Aware missed. Of course one man's definition of a pest is different to another man's...
