Discussion
this will be moved to a appropriate place till then her is my problem. bought a Kodak printer from staples,2 weeks ago. yesterday it goes on the blink. so i take it back. man tells me it was a clearance line and have no more. but if i pay extra £30 can have model up from what i have cos it uses the same £28 worth of ink i have bought. no one told me when i bought it. i was buying a clearance line printer. i also payed for a 3 year extended warranty. and was told if it fails bring it back and get a new one. but i cant and they must have knew this. I'm not happy and dont see why i have to be out of pocket for being miss sold a printer in the first place. they phoned around other stores to see if anyone had any left. most stores had about 3-5 left ! all faulty returns. did they know these printers were s
t so that's why they are discontinued them.
t so that's why they are discontinued them.Sale of Goods Act has implied quality in it so if the machine goes wrong within 6m of purchase, it is deemed unfit for purpose. If they can't replace it or repair it, you're entitled to a refund.
If it's a discontinued line then technically you may have been mis-sold the warranty.
I really don't understand why people buy them as once past 6 months, it's all pretty vague anyway.

Dyslexia doesn't affect grammar.
As far as I know it effects all sort of written communication. The OPs dyslexia seems different to some I have seen, in that his words are in the correct order and spelt mostly correctly, but lack grammar and punctuation.
In my experience dyslexia can also manifest itself with words being jumbled up in the wrong order, sentences making no sense at all, and totally manufactured words that are impossible to translate.
I guess there are different types of dyslexia and different people deal with it in different ways.
One lady I know actually types in a way that looks like haikus, the short structured sentences let her make sense of the words whereas long paragraphs get muddled for her. She works very hard to be understood.
But, that's not the point of the thread really
Take it back.
Regardless of statutory laws and wotnot I would except the shop to either replace it with their closest replacement model, or give you a refund.

t so that's why they are discontinued them. And I think you'll be able to answer your own question and know how to tackle the issue.

Spell checker may be showing up how wrong it all is, but that only matters if you do something about it!
Anyway, get onto the info in posts above, you will have to stand your ground and take no s
t - they are obligated to sort it out one way or another. In times like this, companies like that 'try it on', more and more. The reward is probably higher than the risk, based on a reasonable success rate - i.e. people not being bothered to pursue the issue(s) to a conclusion.
Being serious and not trying to be offensive, if you are to communicate with anyone in writing with regard to this, get someone to check it over for you before you send it.
