Any ideas on how to deal with this?

Adaware scan comes up with 'possible browser hijack ' & lists 6 files, if I erase them & then run adaware again they're still there - not enough info on adaware to erase them in explorer.

I also seem to get 2 or 3 blank windows come up when on the internet.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Had something similar last week.

Do a search for HiJackThis - it's a program which identifies entries from adware and malware in the Windows registry.

Post the logs produced from hijackthis on one of the many anti spyware forums and they will tell you what to tick for deletion or any other special instructions for manual removal

I've had this problem over the last few days...

Best place to get the hijackthis log looked seems to be: http://computercops.biz/forum67.html

Usually quite a quick turnaround for them to go over it...
