Don't know if you guys are familiar with, for instance, Google Sketchup? Anyway, on YouTube there are masses of tutorials on various aspects of sketchup which show the cusor movements and what happens as a result, and the video hasn't been made by having a camera pointed over the guy's shoulder!

Cam Studio.

Fraps you'll have to buy if you want to record anything longer than, 30seconds is it?

It's working fine for what I want, I daresay I can edit the .avi file in another program should I need to?

Yes, Windows Movie Maker (it's on your PC!) but that's not great. I mean you can replace the audio, cut bits out, rearrange the order, stick in a title, but can't, for instance, move images around, shrink images or anything more exotic.

All the videos I've uploaded to YouTube were created using Windows Movie Maker. (My YT profile is linked to from my PH profile.)
