Recovering a lost email

OS Windows XP Pro on an HP laptop. MS Outlook
Colleague has deleted an important email from machine, not once but twice! i.e first delete sent it to deleted items folder and then deleted from there as well. Can i get it back? How please.

Very unlikely unless you have an exchange server. If so contact the exchange admin quickly!

It all depends. What's the back end mail solution. If it's corporate, it's probably Exchange? Is so, you're in look - there's an option in outlook to recover deleted items (select the deleted items folder and it will appear on the menus).

also check if your mate has opted to 'leave a copy of the mail on server' if so, the mailserver itself could well have the origional mail on there.

if not, ask the recipient to resend the mail/order.

if not, slap your mate for being a fool and train them on the effective use of IT
