Using MS Poerpoint we have a display showing in the foyer at school. Various slides, but with one repeating. ie:
Slide1 - Slide X - Slide 2 - Slide X - etc

where slide x is the same.
At the moment "slide X" needs changing regularly, so each occurrence needs updating, takes ages.

Is there a way where "slide X" can be changed once, and updates all the occurences?

Hope this is clear.
Thanks in advance.

Can you not do a "Find and Replace" on the file every time you want to update it?

If it's a couple of words it will only take a few keystrokes to change them all.

Use the 'custom show' option in the 'Slide Show' menu to display the panels in whatever order you want - even the same slide multiple times in different places - this means you only have to change the 1st instance.

The other method would be to create a master with the repeating slide, and just cover it over with the new slide contents when you don't need it!

That's exactly what I was looking for.
Cheers, thought there must be a simple way.
Thanks
