My desktop pc has just 'stopped working' (went off while using it and now wont power up), anyone local(ish) to Warminster reccomend someone/somewhere that can take a look before I scrap it and buy another?

Great idea moving this thread from the South West section where locals could help with the "Warminster" part

Sounds PSU ish - can you borrow another PSU to try .( in the absence of a PC expert ,which ,BTW,I'm not .I'm just a humble electronics engineer )

All sorted, turns out it was the power module, cost to fix was £34.99 for the part and £15 to install it, the shop did say i was lucky though as normally when it goes it takes the motherboard with it!.
