Any tips on how the smiles can be made to work on an iPad - my machine gets terribly confused opening new windows etc

They work fine on my Touchpad!

What iPad is it? I have an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4S and both work fine for displaying smilies.

Are you on iOS5? If not it might be worth upgrading to see if it makes any difference smile

Smilies work for me on iOS, (fat pad). thumbup

Clicking the smilie info page just opens up a new page.

My mark one iPad has no trouble with smilies.
