Pagemeker 7.0

Hi all

About a month ago I needed to create a brochure not having a Mac to hand I had to use my PC, of which had no DTP programmes installed so I quickly downloaded Pagemakers trial version forgeting it was on a 30 day countdown I produced my whole catalogue on this version

Now the 30 days are up I'm because the price (which I should have looked at before) is and I can't send out any brochures to my enquiring clients

So is there anyone out there willing to help out

How about redownloading and installing another copy of the trial version and getting another 30 days. Might work.

I think you'll probably have to go through the Registry and delete items connected with Pagemaker to do so.

Tried that, even if you've uninstalled the previous version it seems to recognise it and says the trial period is up thx anyway

If you email it to me, i'll output it to PDF and email it back if you like? You'll obviously need to send me any linked files too, unless you embedded all the images etc.

I couldn't send you a snide copy if I wanted to, as its licensed to work.

As an aside, I used Pagemaker 7.0 for about 2 years before switching to Quark Xpress 6 and now I hate using Pagemaker - Quark is so much better. It cost about £1k though!

thats really kind Dave, but I really need the programme, just so happens tat someone I know is a registered user with Adobe and they don't want to upgrade too 7.0, so they're letting me take it on for £80 odd, which is better than the £500 for the full programme. I prefer Quark but my local printers only had Pagemaker
