A little challenge

My youngest boy got some points for his xbox live but scratched the card to hard and now we can’t make all the digits out. We have tried several combinations but no joy. We have all the other digits but stuck for what the middle five could be.
Thought I would try here to see what you guys can come up with.

the G could be a 3?

I don't know anything about them to be honest but I was going to try phoning them tomorrow. I thought I would still give it a go tonight to get the code as he's a bit disappointed.

Did you try converting the image to a negative?

This does seem to make it a little clearer - although I'm still none the wiser!

Worth a try, maybe. But what might help would be if you could get your hands on as many good quality images of used cards, then you could extrapolate the shape of the characters of that exact typeface and end up with a better idea of what's missing....perhaps!

Tried changing picture to a negative but still didn't get it. Spoke to Microsoft and despite the card having a bar code and serial number they can't get digits either. They did say it won't have vowels in it so second letter isn't going to be "A".

He will just have to count his losses i think.
