How can make MP3 files louder?
Discussion
You could use a program such as Wavelab (wave editing software) to decode the MP3, re-encode it as a .wav file and then simply amplify it.
Then re-encode as an MP3 before saving.
Or I could do it for you, if you can Email them to it.goes.fast@gmail.com, but they might take me a while to send back over.

normalize should do the job nicely, especially when you've got a lot of files to rework
i just tried that one - but its a damn DOS progie, whereas i much prefer a windows interface, as i'm more used to that nowadays.
i now gonna try that other one mentioned above - 'MP3Gain'

Total Recorder is great. You turn up the recording level in decibels.
