new virus.........well to me anyway

The following had an attaschment that norton deleted

Your email account has been used to send a huge amount of unsolicited e-mail during the recent week. Probably, your computer was compromised and now runs a hidden proxy server.
We recommend that you follow instructions in the attachment in order to keep your computer safe.

Someone you know has just got worm_mydoom.m
On their system, without their knowledge it has generated an email which your address has been randomly attached to out of their address book and sent to you to try and get you to execute the attachment.
In your case Norton has recognised this trojan and killed the attachment.
