How do I get an .iso file onto a CD/DVD?

Got a 1.2 Gb .iso file downloaded. How do I get it on to a cd/dvd ?

I'm sure I've done it before, just can't remember how or what tools.....can you give me pretty clear instructions if you know.

I'm pretty sure Nero et al has support for that..

uh huh, just checked here and Nero 6 supports .iso burning to DVD

You need to select the option "Burn Image", in case that's what you were after.

I've got a prog called UnDisker that will extract iso files. Free as far as i can remember.

You need Smart Projects ISO Buster which you can downmload free here

As your file is 1.2gb this tool is ideal for slitting it. I use it regularly and it allows you to split large files so that you can burn them in two halves or more.

Just drag the stuff out of the explorer window onto the desktop and burn each bits using Nero or similar.



It is also good for recovering damaged CD's and images as it lets you see and pull all the files within the image.
