BT Surftime account dialing with Skytalk
Discussion
Help,
I have a BT line, and subscribe to "Surftime". I also buy my phone calls from "Skytalk" through my Sky Digital. I have noticed that the internet (dial up) has slowed appreciably since then. I have also just recieved my Skytalk bill, and have noticed that all the internet calls I have made since joining the skytalk service have been charged for. Previously all my evening and weekend internet calls were free (0844 number). I have been advised that I need to prefix the dial up number with a code to disable the skytalk and ensure that my internet calls are directed through BT instead. Of course, no one at BT or Sky seems to know anything about this. Does anyone know this number? I do feel a little agrieved that we were not informed that this would be an issue when we took the skytalk on, though most of the other calls being free helps to ease the pain......
