Connecting a Mac to a network

Anyone any idea of where I can find info to help me connect a Mac running OS-X to a Win 2000 (Server 2000) network?

These guys make two great products AdmitMac and Dave. [url]www.thursby.com/[/url] We use both and they are great. Totally integrates the Mac into a CIFS and Windows Server platforms.
