Above message appeared twice at different times.
Happens whilst using AV-DVD transfer software. Memory 1Gb, seperate hard drive (160Gb)used to run program and capture/ transfer video to DVD writer.
Software booklet say's possible cause could be overheating processor. If I run machine and program with side off cabinet works fine.
Could processor be overheating and how do I cure.
Machine is Dell 2400. Pentium 4. 2.4Gig. 80Gb HD + 160Gb HD external. AV-DVD software is Pinnacle AV-DVD with there capture board.

Simply acquire a bigger heatsink/fan combo.

The symptoms are certaintly in line with a heat based issue...

Thought of that but wont they say its the software I'm using, hence note in trouble shooting section of software manual.I dont think it's a cooling fan failure, so possibly not a warrenty issue.I also think I have to send it back to them, so downtime and all the shite about fitting extra memory and hardware
Im not techy enough to know if its normal or possible with a powerful program to the overheat chip.
