I have several POP mail accounts but since I added a new one (I use Outlook 2002 with XP Home) I keep constantly getting pop up boxes saying "Enter network password" and underneath it has "Please enter your user name and password" - well the bloody things are already typed into the boxes! There is also a bit that you can tick that says "save your password in the password list" but when I try and tick it and press ok it just pops back up again with no tick!

This thing is doing my head in as it pops up every few minutes! Anybody have a cure??

Is it the new one?

Are you absolutely sure the username/password is correct in the saved mail account settings (case sensitive)

No, it's not the new one - it's all of them now! I will try the link above and see how I get on...looks complicated though!

Had a similar thing on my sisters computer with random Network logon boxes popping up when she initiated a dial up, in the end I think I found that under the Options Tab in the properties for her dial up connection there was a tick box for "Include Windows Logon Domain", this was not ticked on my computer and unticking hers seemed to cure it.

Having said all that I am no expert and she only has 98.
