I was using powerquest last night to resize the partitions on my hard drive last night. I have them as a C and a D drive.

It crashed 1/2 way through, and now my D drive is no more.

I now have a C drive which is funtioning normally, a PqRP section and an unallocated section, both of which report sizes of 41,315 bytes. I also have an 'unallocated section of 5,977 bytes.

How the heck do I recover the drive?

Send it to a company who specialises in that kind of think I'd suspect!

Spoke to Powerquest tech support who were very good.

PqRP stands for Power Quest Recoverable Partition and they recovered it.

I am a lucky boy!
