Anyone moved from the first to the second. I was just trying it, but I've been finding it doesn't have some fo the really useful features in Moz. I miss

  • Typing something into the address bar, then hitting down to search google
  • Typing an address, then hitting control+enter to open new tab with address

Any way of getting the functionality back, since it seems both faster and prettier?

And the sidebar appears to be less poweful too

Install the GoogleBar and Ctrl-T opens a new tab?

Cheers. That would unfortunately be a slower work around the the Moz way of doing it. I was hoping it was just a case of shift+enter or something like that, or maybe a plugin that would Mozillafy FF? I guess I should probably just stick to Mozilla.

Type about:config into your addressbar. Look for the entry keyword.URL and change the value to www.google.com/search?&q=

This replaces the default "I'm feeling lucky" search (which is executed by entering the search term into the addressbar and simply hitting enter) with the normal Google search.
