Let's get this straight: it's not a worm, it's not a virus. Infact it's not capable of remotly comprimising your box in any way. It requires a script to be run locally with admin/root permissions.

Since 1986 ladies and gentleman: without any virus or worm.

1992: harddisk transplant due to Apple (700) malfunction

2001: network shite due to raidbank trouble

And that's all for nightmares . . .

I love my Mac too.

So many years of faultless running, and all with zero time spent even thinking about viruses or OS problems...

System 3x has been around for almost 30 years and has never had a virus or a worm either.

Doesnt mean the 32 was a good machine.

The current iSeries however, rocks, with good reason.

Power PC chips in both the Mac and the iSeries incidentally...

Only small folk mind you, like IBM, Cornhill, Halifax etc etc...
