Where have they gone?

Hi Guys

I've been happily using an ipaq 2210 for the lest few months for running my day to day appointments, making notes on a given day etc.

Today I needed to just recap on something i did back in August and to my surprise the notes for the day had disapeared, in fact all the notes upto this week have gone!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Is there away to get them back into the calender where they belong?

Are you talking about having the ipaq sync-ed to a PC? When you do this (IIRC - but it does it with my Nokia 'phone) you can specify how far forward and back your entries can go at each sync...

I've just checked on my laptop and all the notes are still listed on the correct days within outlooks calender.

sync'ing with the lappy doesn't re add the missing details back to the ipaq.

Am I to assume the ipaq discards the details after a time to conserve memory?

I believe so - have you checked the options on your synchronisation software? (If all else fails try the "help" tab?)

I use the supplied Microsoft Active sync with the ipaq, this in itself doesn't give too many clues as to why the details have gone walk about on the ipaq.

The ipaq doesn't seem to have an archieve folder like outlook, and the options tab within active sync just gives the option to sync all appointments, and sync all appointments in the last two weeks.

I know that some notes i saved in september were still readable last week on the ipaq, so i'm really now
