This is a fairly specific query which I am posting here on the off-chance that someone on PH has a similar setup and has solved this problem.

I have fitted an ATi 9800SE All-in-Wonder card to my Shuttle XPC FN41G2. The AIW has a phono jack output that must be connected to a line-in on your sound card, otherwise you will not hear an TV audio. The Shuttle uses onboard nVidia audio. I have configured the rear surround jack to be line-in in Control Panel, however can still hear nothing. Help!

I'm going to be no help at all I'm afraid but this is exactly what we were planning for Mrs gophers pc as the external tv card messes around with the wireless networking. If you do resolve it could I ask that you let me know?

Cheers

Couldn't get the line-in to work on the Shuttle. My solution was to use a CD-ROM audio cable to connect the audio-out pins on the ATI card to the CD audio-in pins on the motherboard. Let me know if you need details.
