"Inkjet Printable" CDs
Discussion
I keep seeing ads for "inkjet printable" CDRs.
Am I missing something? I can appreciate that an Inkjet printer might be able to physically print on them (if it could handle media that thick) but surely most "home" IJ printers have a paper path that runs around a roller?
Is it just that you need a printer with a straight through paper path?

There have been some CD-specific printers that will do them, and CD-capable printers seem to be getting more common these days. I believe the Epson R200 and some of the Canons will do them too.
I tend to buy inkjet-printable media because it's nicer to write on and doesn't have any branding on the top surface.
