Organising Internet favourites and desktop icons??

I am trying to delete some of my favourites on internet explorer and some disused desktop icons only thing is everytime I restart the computer they come back!!

How do I stop this?

Sounds like you have a spyware problem.

Go to www.lavasoft.de and download Ad Aware, install it, get the latest signature file and run it.

Then google for Spybot Search and Destroy, install and run it.

That should sort you out.
