Help With .rcg Files

I've just bought NHRA Drag Racing 2 and tried to install it on my PC last night and it keeps coming up with a box saying that Windows cannot open a this .rcg file. I have tried searching for .rcg's on google and it tells me it is a Netscape Newsgroup file(?).

Any ideas of what I need to open this file? Or is there a way of converting it to another type of file?
