I need access to a 2K3 server on the web. I have looked around a little, and the UK2.net ones look good value at £34 per month for a little babby one.

Only problem is their tech support is extremely minimal and it's tricky to find out what is and what isn't allowed. In all other respects, they have been fine when I have used them for DNS etc.

Does anyone know where I can get a good package? I want to run PHP, MySQL, Apache (2.0) and have full terminal server access so I can run exe's.

I need it for application development. As always, it's for charidee, so it's price sensitive.

Ta.

UK2 are fine is you dont need to rely on the service or uptime (ie for a personal box).

For anything business critical.. well, I wouldnt.

If its vitual hosting you need, then I know muncher offers Windows 2003 / MS SQL hosting.

If you're after a dedicated box from a service driven company with real people on phones, then I can sort you out.

www.serverstream.net/bargaindeal.html

If you want cheap as chips, I would say look at the USA instead of UK2, so long as the latency and odd support hours dont affect you.

Feel free to mail me via profile if you want any info, or just ask one of the Many PH Serverstream/Reg1 clients for a reccomendation

Now running on 2003 iirc.
