Quick Wireless Question.
Discussion
Computer Numpty head on :
My neighbours are about to go broadband and their kids are pushing for wireless connections on their respective PC's.
As I also have wireless broadband installed they have requested I set up the PC's for them. My ISP issued me a static IP address.
Can I install a router if their ISP doesn't provide a static IP address ?
Or do they need a ADSL modem connected to a router that dials as and when required ?
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

Don't forget to set you/your neighbours channels as far apart as possible. Echoing the above, set WEP. Turn on the DHCP server on the router, and it should work a treat Regardless of static/dynamic IP address.
I normally use D link kit, piece of cake to set up, plus you can fit better aerials to improve range if you want to (needs a pigtail though).
