Hudl to I phone !!

Ok I be a little thick here but have tried so many ways , I am trying to tether my hudl tablet through my I phone 4s and have no success , service provider is set up for tethering I phone says no ??

Anyone out their who can throw some light on the subject ?

Haven't a clue with iPhones sorry. You'll probably have far more lucky in one of the techy areas of the forum.

At what point does the phone say no?

I assume you've gone to settings => Personal Hotspot and turned it on, what happens?

If you updated to iOS 7.1 it probably won't work.
They've changed how the network settings for tethering are saved (as in they don't save anymore).
Had the same when connecting nexus 7 to iPhone hotspot, it would hang on 'Obtaining IP address' for ages.
