Netscape Emergency

I'm not sure how familiar anyone ehre is with Netscape Navigator 7.1, but here goes...

About 15 minutes ago, I quit out of Netscape and my computer restarted... It hung up on restart, so I rebooted again. Then I went to go back to my web browsing... and found that all of my settings were gone, as well as the email I had saved on my computer.

Anyone have this problem before? Any ideas?

Or am I screwed?

I managed to get my saved mail back by directing the new profile to look at the old profile's mail folder. But I'm still fcked as far as my bookmarks go. Any ideas?

Not a Netscape expert, so I don't know where they are, but can you search for files with the same name....

Go into explorer, press F3 and search for files.

Don't put the type, just a word you know is only likely to be the title of one of your favourites.

Once you have found them, you might be able to import them, or paste them over your current list.
