Canon Wireless Printer...???

Anyone had any experience of Canon's new Pixma range of printers.

This one quite takes my fancy:
PIXMA iP4000R-NEW
In particular the wireless printing capabilities.

Features
IEEE802.11g/b WiFi printer for the home
Advanced media handling, integral duplex unit and CDR/DVD printing
4800x1200dpi with FINE, 2pl Micro-Nozzles & ContrastPLUS
Up to 25ppm mono & 17ppm colour

Any thoughts/comments from the experts here?

I wirelessly use photobox
Quality is much better than inkjet and cheaper!

Its for documents more than the photo quality....but I'm sure that'll be used too.

Unless folks know of another wireless printer that is just b+w for documents.

You could get a cheap laser (e.g. samsung ML1510 now about £50) and add a wireless print server

I so nearly bought one of these last night in the Apple store when I bought my Imac, but I thought i'd wait and see whether anyone had any better suggestions too. seen the IP6000 / 8000?

Bought an IP8000 about 2 weeks or so ago.

Really stunning quality and the speed is something else - 40 seconds or so from pressing print to an A4 on glossy paper appearing.

Have a look on www.canon.co.uk and you can request that they print you a sample on a particular printer.

I'm sure you know enough different people to supply the relevant number of different addresses
