I'm thinking of buying a Blackberry 7230, but have a couple of questions. I currently have a works allocated mobile, running on O2. I'm thinking of buying a Blackberry on O2 on a cheap tarrif, then swap SIMS cards with my works funded mobile!!
Will this work?
I'd try to buy a Blackberry on O2 PAYG. That way, once you've swapped SIM cards, it won't cost you a penny.

I was going to give the sim card to Mrs GMan to use on her mobile, because she is pay as you go at the moment.
I'm trialling a 7100v from Vodafone at the moment. Fantastic bit of kit. Using the Outlook Desktop Redirector to send email to the Blackberry just now, but in the process of setting up a Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES) to do it properly. Keyboard took a bit of getting used to, just needs a bit of blind faith in the SureType technology.
I've tried all manner of PDAs and SmartPhones, but this is the first I can really use every day.

Blackberry = quite simply the best business tool I've ever used, real time email/diary/contacts & www browser. Have hadthe B&W version for 18 months and quite simply couldn't work without it now. I chose not to have the colour version due to the B&W version having better battery life (about 7 days) and a bigger screen. Why take a portable anywhere when I can do 70% of my email (can't do all types attachments - but word docs ok) with this...
3G Data Card = not in your question but again until you've used one it's hard to justify, once you've used one you'll never give it back...
Must say I don't see any of the bills and we are often a bit ahead of the public versions - however I do know roaming for both works perfectly around Europe no probs.
Even though I do work for Vodafone this is a personal opinion and not sales BS
