What sort of little things do you need doing?

BTW that database is pretty secure isnt it? I'm still on it though...

Chaps,

We often have urgent requirements for simple websites and bits of programming to be done but often the web team we usually use is busy.

I have been told about online sites that you put a piece of work up for ‘bid’ and then pick who you want to do it based on their previous work and references etc..a bit like www.supportuniverse.com (which ironically is down at the moment )

I like the idea of this as it’s quick and cheap (Yep, I know you get what you pay for!!) which is what we usually need for the simple bits of work required and wondered if you had any good sites to visit for this kind of thing??

Cheers

Usually quick websites (5 static pages usually – it’s the GRAPHICS and design ideas we get stuck on!) for 1 off promotions that we run on clients behalf (we are telecoms not IT but they expect the lot!!!) plus bits of integration with suppliers API etc....

Yep, she's a bitch alright!!!! Keep plodding away at it though as the offers still there!!

You'll probably be able to find someone to do a templated site, then you just change the images and text etc for each implementation. The overall layout stays the same.

The API's should be easier to do on a project by project basis but I would go the canned route with the websites.

No worries on the database, its starting to become a battle of wits

Hello,
SupportUniverse.com is live now, and I used it for 2 projets already and will stick to them for my 3rd. It's the best way to get your project done as far as my experience tells me. And a lot cheaper than any other way, since you can choose the programmer/designer that you want for the price that is within your preset budget.
The other way is to hire someone and pay him by the hour!
whatever you decide to do, don't go the templates road
