I keep getting emails sent to my hotmail account that i only use for msn messenger.

Its inviting me to sign up to a site to get free sms text messages...

is this some kind of scam? as ive got the email from people who i NEVER talk to but are still on my msn list from years back.

So far i've just deleted the email

Im getting them too really annoying. I also get free complimentary mortgage calculator offers in their thousands along with the mandatory viagra offers.

sms.ac is a site that is from southern Africa somewhere and used to offer free sms messaging from your keyboard to mobiles anywhere in the world. They had to start charging when the mobile operators put up the charges to them. I used to use them when they were free but no more.
