I use SpamPal but to be honest I can't recommend it, it seems to flag 90% of normal email as spam but passes the genuine spam straight through. Hotmail seems exceptionally good at spam blocking these days, have you considered migrating to a Hotmail account?

Spamfigher seems rather good, though I have only stated using it recently.

Migrate to Mozilla Thunderbird. It is free and includes a spam filter.
