Am in a reasonably rural setting. Can get BT broadband albeit only 512K.
Treated myself to a new PC so want to get broadband sorted. Dont think I will be a heavy user BUT have got a large hard disk so maybe should be downloading plenty.
Any recommendations re a good supplier for unlimited (?) download and not too expensive?
Thanks
Gary

I think pipex or nildram are the way to go... around £22/23 per month I think.

I'm looking at Joust's company UkOnline, Eclipse Internet and Pipex All have similar sorts of pricing.

Just switched to carphone warehouse £19.99 per month including free phone calls evenings and weekends.
The only problem seems to be a large oncrease in the number of port scans.

Eclipse at £24 a month.
Always had excellent service from them, with no download limits (I've downloaded gigs of stuff)

I've had good customer service from Nildram when I was setting up my network, they even phoned me back, which in the broadband industry is pretty unusual.

I;ve been on BT since it started (2+years) and they've been pretty perfect for reliability.

But their cheap option now has a 1Gb download per month limit and the others 15 or 30gb.

I was mooving house so havnt bothered changing, but i may do next year, nildram prehaps. Not made easy tho as I'm on an engineers install so transference isnt straightforward.

I use force9, part of someone else. I have 512k unlimited at 21.99 a month. Pretty good support and helpful too.

HTH.

DataComms Europe.

£16 a month, uncapped.

Though I have a suspicion that they throttle P2P apps...
