Does anyone know how we can automatically generate autocard drawings from a database to use on a website?

TIA

I've done something like this before. What's the data and it's format in the DB?

Well, you can fire the drawing commands into Autocad in a number of ways, and I bet the later versions (not played with it for some time) you can use OLE automation.

So in short, yes it can be done. I assume you're thinking of using WHIP on the client browser side?

WHIP, see you've lost me already

From what you have told me I think I have enough to say yes it can be done.

Thanks

How about converting the autocad files to .pdf which you can do with Acrobat Pro 6 or later and just serving them up as pdf's. Most people wont need to download extra software then.
