Hi All,

I'm going on hols and will be using my iPhone for nav.

I need a recommendation for a cradle. Would prefer one that clips to an airvent or sits on the dash. Don't really fancy one of the suction ones.

Any recommendations?

Agreed 100%. Very well built and simple and got it from the local Apple store. Amount of cradles I've been through is silly. This is by far the best.

I had an air vent one for a year or so, but replaced it with a suction one, as I got fed up with losing an air vent! It wasn't so bad in summer, as you could leave the vent on with the aircon running and it helped to cool the phone processor, but you definitely had to shut it off in winter, unless you wanted to cook your phone! hehe

smile Just seen your response. I contacted Kenu via FaceBook asking about a larger version as I will be getting the new 4.7" iPhone when it comes out, and they said there will be larger version available soon.

I' wouldn't worry the standard. One takes a hitc one m7 & m8 I'd be very surprised if the iphone 6 didn't fit

That's good news. Once I get the new "6", I will check if all is ok but it comes down to the cases also I guess.

I use a Breffo Spiderpodium. It's cheap and easily moved from vehicle to vehicle.

What thickness will that kenu one accept ?

reason i ask is I have an otterbox defender case for my iphone 5s and would ideally like a vent mount without the hassle of having to take the phone out of the case.

the defender case is 12mm thick
