Removing RW Capability ?

[smp]

Does anyone know of a way of removing the Writing capability of a CDRW under a normal user profile ?

I have a number of pc's running XP Pro that I would like to disable this particular function - not that I don't trust cetain members of staff

TIA

Start > Run > services.msc

Set IMAPI CD-burning COM service to disabled.

Should work, but haven't tried it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Would that be per user or a general command for all users ?
