Bluetooth issues....boring but any info appreciated
Discussion
Sorry for the boring question but I've posted on other sites but had no joy so hoping someone on here can help please
I'm a massive car fan and my toy for the weekend is a mk2 focus rs running 400bhp so please don't ignore me too much as my issue is with my 60plate vivaro sportive daily works van. Despite the horror stories it's never let me down in almost 4 years of ownership since new & nearly 90k miles but the built in stereo recently started switching to standby (off) every 30 seconds or so but then almost immediately coming back on. I realised it behaved as normal one I'd disabled the Bluetooth pairing to my phone so presumed my phone was the issue but I've recently bought a new phone so now now the issue is with the audio unit. The warranty is up & although vauxhall will look at it I need the van for work so I was wondering if anyone can shed any light on this from similar experiences or if they can tell me if the Bluetooth module is a separate part or would I need a full new audio unit? I'm hoping its just a separate part as my next step will be to see an auto electrician then my last resort would be a parrot kit but ideally I'd like to get the built in system up & running again
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Dave

Nope, never upgraded anything and all of my phones seem fine in my car. My old phone was a galaxy ace 2 and my new one is the galaxy ace 3 although I doubt that makes any difference I think something in the stereo is the issue. Think il source a decent auto electrician as I don't seem to be getting any joy elsewhere
