Do a Google search for E-donkey.
Download and install (it's free) make sure you have DIV-X installed and relevant Codecs (search for div-x)
Run E-Donkey and do a search for a film you like or want to install.
The reason you look for DIV-X films is because they are DVD rips and not camera in a cinema jobs.
Of course this is illegal and I wouldn't recommend you did it at all...

Oh and if you get the auto FBI email, do as it says for that film...only.

also, do a google for 'bittorrents' Be prepared to do some research into how it all works though, not quite as simple as edonkey, but not too bad.

Interesting, I'm a bit of a computer numptie.

I've just dowloaded a couple of movies and they won't play video in Media Player 9, just the audio.

It seems there is an error "downloading codec".

How can I fix this, is there a download?

Advice much appreciated.

Basically if you get the automated e-mail from the FBI saying "You're a very naughty boy, we can see that you are uploading copies of <product> and we're going to give you a chance to correct the error of your ways." then stop sharing that file.... right now. But only that file because their little automated system counts each seperate file as a seperate violation, but doesn't corrolate the results.

You could try downloading fddshow, that usually plays the vast assortments of odd bod files I snag.
It's http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=53761&package_id=48261 here if you want it. Get the exe version.
