Problems with this site, any ideas

Hi folks,
For some reason this site only is really really slow when I am using it. I have broadband, it used to be as quick as any other site, but now seems to be running at a fraction of the speed.

For instance, when clicking onto forums from the title screen, it pops up eventually, but waiting for that particular forum to emerge takes an age.

Has anyone else experienced this, or is there anything I can do to speed things up my end.

I very much doubt if it is the site's fault as no-one else seems to be having a problem.

Any hints...

Reboot / Reboot your ADSL / Cable Modem.

Could simply be you're connected to a flakey Homegroup/router.

Have you installed any new Popup blocker software? or Firewalls?

Are you running pop-up blocking software?

I am and have also noticed this, together with a number of javascript errors since switching this on.

Jamie and Gopher,
I think you both have hit the nail on the head. I recently installed an aladdin systems 'clean up' type programme which allegedly wipes hard drives, blocks pop ups and generally makes more space.

I don't know much about these things, but have since disabled the programme and it seems to have sorted it.
