trying to find my site

how does one put my site onto a search engine?
I have tried to search for my site, yet its not until i actully put the web address in and then click on find the link do i actully get to my site.

Is there a fee to pay or something?

Type GoogleAds into Google, they have a website that explains more.

How long has your site been live? It can take 8 weeks or more before it starts to appear in search engines, unless you take steps to expedite it.

Start reading the FAQ at www.seochat.com that will give you a better idea of what to do.

Basically you need other sites to link to you before the search engines will spider your site, it can take a long time, so patience is a virtue.

Take the time to learn first, before trying to get listed in dmoz or google etc etc. Better that than get banned before you even get started.
