I used to have a really good old style british two burst antique style ringtone on my P800, this phone has died and the p900 does not have the same tones, does anyone have a .wav file or some such with an old UK style phone ring? the US ones are just not the same.

Trivial I know but I don't like all the fancy tones and just want a real "Ring"

Cheers

In a similar vein, does anybody have a "proper" 'ring ring' tone for a 6610i?

I don't like tunes as ringtones.

Had some hidden away on my pc which I used to use on my T610 - not 100% sure if they will work on your phones or not but are in midi format so think are pretty standard. Have zipped and wacked up on website.

4 to try - hope they are of use.

Thanks Prof
I will use one of them for now but the sound I would like is the same as the antique one you have but with the two ring "British" format.

I think I may have come across what you are looking for, it's only a 20k wav - should I mail it to you?

Ok, slight problem, the phone needs a Midi file or Mp3 but not wav?

How do I convert it? I've downloaded a Midi convertor but its in Double Dutch! seems to need a tone file?

Any help?

Nick

try www.totalrecorder.com/ and download the standard version - it inserts a noise every 60 secs if its unregistered - but that should not be an issue in this case.

If you can't get it to work let me know as I have a registered version at home(it's great for recording radio programs over the 'net) and can convert to mp3 when I get home.

Cheers
