Anyone know the differance between the alt key and the alt gr key? Whats the gr mean?

ALTernate GRaphics


Not used much these days. I think you can use it to get accents on characters in word etc.

ahhhh, well that's cleared that up.
been annyoning me as i thought that i would use alt gr + enter as a hot key. but it didn't have the desired affects.

<alt gr> + <.> = ... in word.

On most uk keyboards you get the Euro symbol € by pressing Alt Gr+4. That's all I use it for.
