the 2mb pay as you go deal looks very good value. Anyone care to comment?

I have the 1Mb line and have found it to be reliable and the support staff very good. My dad got it and I set his wifi n/w up easily. Their emails about activating are very clear.

Thumbs up from me.

Yep a from me

Excellent service, they notify of you every upgrade & downtime expected etc, very easy to use, 99% reliable too. They always get top ratings in the ADSL guide which Is why I chose them.

I changed From Virgin which was the most goddam awful pile of pooh service ever experienced.

I'm with Metronet. Generally pretty good, still trying to work out why it stops working for a couple of minutes several times a day, but that may not be Metronet's fault.

I`ve been with them about 6 months and they have been brilliant. Particularly recommended if you only plan on downloading around 2Gb a month, but even if you use it a lot more, the most you`ll pay is 22.75.

Just note you have to pay the connection fee, supply your own Hardware (with was a bonus in my case because I wanted a router), and you have to pay extra for email addresses.

 been great so far. I have the 512 package and pay no more than £13 a month, even less sometimes. Made a saving of about £60 so far compared to NTL.
Also i like the emails they send out to let you know of everything that happends. Might upgrade to 1mb soon.

What he said. Very good customer support and 512Mb for £13-14pcm inc VAT.

However I too have noticed that data transfer can stop inexplicably for about 10 secs at a time (the little red and green bars in the ZoneAlarm icon are quite useful!). They check it at their end and say it must be BT.

also very happy with them. Only on the 512 but that's all I need and compared with anyone else £11.75 a month for broadband is a bit of a bargain!

Interesting, I'm on a 512kb with pipex deal at the moment, costs me about £24 per month, if I go to metronet then it will cost me another £10 at most for 2mb and I get a fixed IP

Very tempted.
