Another Word Problem

When I copy something say from an email or webpage and try and paste it into Word it pastes it as a picture "icon" and not text. It's only just starting doing this and I can't work it out. Doing my head in!!!

I've met this too. Try selecting the text very carefully to exclude (say) the first word, then past and add it back in.

Have you tried doing a "paste special" and seeing if it gives you an option to paste whatever you've copied as unformatted text? I haven't had exactly the same problem as you're describing, but this has helped with similar problems.

No tried all that - it still pastes as an image even with special paste!!!

open Notepad and paste it in there first - that removes all the formatting then copy and paste it into the Word doc and hey presto!
