Does anybody know of a laptop (preferably a tablet) that with the use of a docking station will support two external monitors?

Thanks

edited to add:

Once connected, I'm not bothered about using the internal screen on the laptop. I have two monitors already that I'd use (they are identical and sit nicely next to each other)

Thanks, I did see a Dell that said it would. Do you know what resolution it will run at?

I could be wrong here, definitely no expert and never done this but have seen it done with desktops, though I have done it with laptops and a single screen.
But thinking about it, is it not more about the adapter/cabling and connection to the monitors out the back of the docking station?
As regards tablets being "dockable", I don't know but most laptops have docking functionality.
Not sure this helps but I am trying.

Thanks

I already have two monitors running from a desktop, but I want to get rid of the desktop case and replace it with a laptop, so I can take my work with me easier.

We're developing some stuff to work on Tablets, hence the idea that a tablet would be better.

My current laptop will use one extra screen and the built in screen, but I was wondering if I could do as above and replace the desktop.

I'd rather use the existing monitors as they're easier to read, being the same resolution and size etc.

I know dell and IBM do docking stations with PCI card slots so you could always put a graphics card in that.

The IBM stinkpad T51 will run the screen and 1 external monitor as 2 screens if that helps but it's not a tablet.

And there is also such a thing as a PCMCIA graphics card. They are £300+ though and rather rare.

I use a dell M50 ... now superceded by the M60. It has a dual screen graphics card. I don't know if it can drive two external monitors when attached to a docking station, but it certainly can only drive its own built-in monitor and one external monitor without the docking station as there is only one standard analogue monitor connector on the back of the laptop. It can run both screens at 1600x1200. There appears to be some limitation with DirectX stylee video only getting streamed to the internal monitor if you want to see it displayed in a window. There is an option to always echo any video content as full screen mode on the external monitor (might be useful if it is hooked up to a projector). 2 screens each running at 1600x1200 gives you a lot of working space ... TV, pistonheads and a devlopment environment open side by side no problem. Not bad for a laptop.

My Dell Inspiron 9100 can drive two external monitors using the VGA slot and a lead to convert the DVI output to VGA, otherwise you're stuck with the built-in display and either VGA or DVI.

It means you can't get mega quality for two external displays, but you do get two monitors to use, which is nice

I run one external flat screen at 1600 x 1200, one CRT at 1024 x 768 and with a PCI graphics card in the docking station, another CRT at 1024 x 768.

Just a follow up:

Dell D810 arrived today with a D/Dock Advanced Port Replicator.

It's got the Centrino M770 (2.13Ghz) CPU and 1GB RAM.

Cracking machine and will power 2 monitors from the D/Dock (1 DVI and 1 9 Pin)

Good result really!
