what is it you type into run to get winip.cfg up in 'win xp' to get ip subnet address etc ?

tried to put ipconfig into run and it just flashes up for a moment..,help ! thanks

you need to load a command prompt and type it in there

type command or cmd in run/start

that shoul dget you a dos/CLI prompt

Then do IPconfig /a or summint, will tell you your IP adress(es).
