Setting in firefox

I cannot find an answer to this no matter what search I use in google and it's driving me mad.

When ever I view a thread which has a load of images in I have to sit and wait for the entire thread to load as everytime a new image loads the page jumps downwards.

I'm guessing this is due to no

I know what you mean but as far as I am aware IE used to do it too. Think maybe its only if the website does not have the picture attributes (i.e. size) in the HTML.

Dont know if you can do anything about it but I would try the official firefox support site, absolutley fantastic, had a couple of replies in the time it took for me to refresh the page!

It is the photo threads on here and Fred Miranda I'm talking about, the ones which display pictures from various sources and are of arbitary size (i.e. not a personal homepage).

I'll try the firefox homepage
