How much do I download??

I've just upgraded my Pipex broadband from 576kbps unlimited to 1mbps limited to 8gb per month. As far as I can tell, the only way they'll tell me how much I've use is if I hit my monthly limit.

Is there another way that I can check how much I have downloaded while surfing, gaming etc etc

Try and run MRTG against your Router (assuming its SNMP'able) if not, get a cheap Managed switch (eBay) and run MRTG against that.

Or, if its just for your one PC, there are plenty of software products (DUMeter, Netlimiter) which will keep count of how much you 'spend'
